JAKE GOZA, DDS, LVIF

Dr Jake Goza received his doctor of dental surgery degree from Louisiana state university health science center in New Orleans in 2007. After graduation he worked two years as an associate in a clinic in Houma, Louisiana. In 2009 he moved to Maryville, TN to become a partner at Crestview Dental.
In 2014, he began his education to treat TMD and facial pain at LVI and that treatment modality has become a huge part of his daily routine. He received his fellowship with LVI in 2019, and being fortunate to bring in an associate to his practice, Dr Goza has been able to focus primarily on treating patients with TMD and facial pain issues. In 2019, he was able to add orthodontics to his practice to give individuals more options on how they can be treated.

Outside of the office, Dr Goza spends his time with his wife Kellie, son Cameron and daughter Ruby. Both kids are active in sports and he is lucky that he has the time to help with their teams.

JOE DEWEES, CDA,DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL AFFAIRS & COURSE CURRICULUM

Joseph Dewees was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He started working in dental offices 20 years ago at the age of 17 as a sterilization technician, while also furthering his education at the College of Southern Nevada. Since then he has worn many different hats in dental offices, from Clinical Dental Assistant, Front Office, Office Manager, and Treatment Coordinator. It was 15 years ago he was first introduced to The Las Vegas Institute, which started his passion for Physiologic Dentistry and enjoys helping patients achieve optimal dental and whole body health.

He is now the Director of Team Programs here at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He believes a well trained, empowered team is the key to a successful dental practice, and hopes to help team members unlock their full potential and help them find their passion for dentistry.

In addition he has a second passion for fitness and is a Group Fitness Instructor and enjoys pushing people to reach and exceed their fitness and weight loss goals.

ANGELA R. CAMERON, DDS, PC, FDOCS, LVIF, FAGD, FPFA

Dr. Cameron is an international speaker, philanthropist, and leader in the dental field. For over twenty one years she has been the owner and chief “Smile Artist” at Sophisticates Smiles and the TMJ Treatment Clinic both located in beautiful Johnson City, TN (USA). She has been honored with numerous awards including being named one of America’s “Top Dentists” and the 2019 “Power Woman” of the Year. Dr. Cameron is a published author and has written three very successful books focused on Cosmetic, Sedation, and Implant Dentistry. In addition to her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, DrCameron holds five Post-doctoral Fellowships including being a Fellow with the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She was recently inducted into the prestigious International College of Dentists. She also has a M.S. Degree in Bio-physical Chemistry (1998) and B.S. Degree in Biochemistry (1997) both from Furman University. Dr. Cameron is the Founder of the Cameron Institute Foundation, a 501(3)c Non-profit charity whose mission is to “End dental pain and suffering in the world.” She is part owner of the Tri-Cities Otters Soccer Team (Football Club). She serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit charity One Warm Coat. Dr. Cameron has been married for 21+ years to Dr. Jason Cunningham and they have two beautiful children Andrew (18) and Alexis (14). She is an active member of her community and Central Baptist Church. Dr. Cameron believes that living is about giving and every day she strives to make the world a better place. In her spare time, Dr. Cameron enjoys spending time with her family, cheering for the UT Volunteers Football team (Go VOLS!), reading, training, and relaxing at the Spa.

CATHERINE DAILEY OWEN, DMD

Dr. Catherine Dailey Owen earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from Penn State University and is a 2007 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. After  graduation she relocated to Sayre, Pennsylvania to practice with her husband, Dr. Patrick Owen. In 2009, she joined the department of Dental Medicine at the Guthrie Clinic. Currently,  Dr. Dailey Owen splits her time between private and hospital based practices.

Dr. Dailey Owen began her LVI journey in November 2014 when the LVI team traveled to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Southern Pennsylvania. She saw Dr. Bill Dickerson speak for  the first time and knew that physiologic based dentistry had to become part of her practice. She completed the Core courses in 2018 and is very passionate about the growth and development of young patients in her practice. She loves discussing myofunctional therapy exercises and using her LightScalpel for buccal and lingual frenectomies when indicated.

In her free time, Dr. Dailey Owen loves to spend time with her husband and daughter.  Together they enjoy traveling, eating great food and skiing. Her other hobbies include cooking, exercising, and anything else she can do to keep her mind and body healthy

 

 

 

DAN COPP, DDS

Dr. Dan Copp grew up in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from The Catlin Gabel School and then headed off to Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He then transferred to the University of Oregon. While attending the University of Oregon, he earned a Summer Research Fellowship from The Endocrine Society for his research at Oregon Health Sciences University, which was ultimately published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology. After graduating from the University of Oregon, he headed to San Francisco to attend the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Copp was, among other things, a representative to the American Dental Education Association, co-organizer of two National Dental Student Lobby Days and won a student scholarship from the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Copp is a member The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (Candidate for Accreditation in process), The Central Coast Dental Society, The California Dental Association & The American Dental Association. He is committed to continuing to stay abreast of current and evolving research, techniques and technology. He has completed the core curriculums of the Dawson Academy, & Spear Education & the Las Vegas Institute. He completed the Alleman Biomimetic Mastership program in adhesive, restorative dentistry in 2020. He is an LVI Fellow. He is also a member of a Spear Education Study Club and the Seattle Study Club.
