ALBERT STARR , DMD, LVIF

Dr. Albert Starr graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2009 and immediately joined his father in practice in their hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. They practiced together for about 5 years before Dr. Starr took over the practice and made it his own. Since its inception in 1977, the practice has always had a philosophy of being technologically advanced and patient-centered. Dr. Starr maintains this philosophy today, with a small team and intimate practice. By doing so, the practice provides individualized and compassionate care in a friendly, modern setting.

Early in his career, Dr. Starr was fortunate to meet some amazing mentors who were instrumental in helping shape his career and introduced him to LVI. He attended his first LVI course in June 2016 and earned his fellowship in November 2018, which is something he is very proud of. He maintains much of his continuing education through LVI and has adapted the curriculum within his practice. Today, his practice focuses mainly on general dentistry with special interest in complex restorative and cosmetic cases. One of his career goals is to inspire and mentor other dentists. As a tenured student, Dr. Starr is now honored to now be part of the IAPA board.

Outside the office, Dr. Starr enjoys spending time with his wife, their two young children and their beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Remmie. As a family, they enjoy boating and traveling together. Dr. Starr also enjoys spending time outside hunting, fishing, and skiing.
