TRACEY HUGHES, DDS, LVIF, FIAPA

Tracey Hughes graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in 1998. Inducted as an honorary member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society, she continued her education and completed an AEGD program at the U of I in 1999. Upon completion of her AEGD program, Dr. Hughes worked as an associate for 2 years in North Liberty, Iowa then purchased her first solo, private dental practice in rural Riverside, Iowa. She studied IV and Oral Conscious Sedation at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Seton Hall University and received her Laser Periodontal Therapy Certification training at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry in 2007.

In 2007, Dr. Hughes sold her private practice in Iowa and followed her heart for the beauty and active lifestyle the Rocky Mountains had to offer. She purchased a private practice in Louisville, CO an began her LVI journey, earning her fellowship in 2012 at LVI. She currently is owner and president of Boulder Valley Dental Center, a state-of-the-art solo, private practice in Louisville, CO. Her practice vision focuses on providing Aesthetic, Physiologic Based Dentistry and Sleep Apnea treatment for her guests.

Dr. Hughes spends much of her free time on outdoor adventures with her teenage son and daughter exploring what the Rocky Mountains have to offer! An avid cyclist, Dr. Hughes has ridden her bicycle from Bar Harbor, Maine to Wilmington, NC. She also likes to get a little muddy on the mountain bike trails in Fruita, CO and Moab, UT.
