2014 Paradise Island Bahamas

2014 we made our way back to the beach in the tropical setting of the Caribbean and landed at the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island Bahamas! We put on our flip flops, laid back but still managed to carry on our tradition on being one of if not the best meetings to attend in Dentistry today! The IAPA still continues to excel in keeping up with what is popular in Dentistry
and give our attendees at each meeting some of the most exciting lectures and workshops. 2014 was just another example of how amazing this meeting is!

2013 Calgary AB

In 2013 we went north into Calgary, AB where we enjoyed some left of remnants of their Cowboy Stampede and enjoyed a city of fun and incredible hospitality! As we continue on with our meetings each year, the IAPA strives to continue the tradition on being one of the best meetings to attend in Dentistry today! For the meeting in Calgary AB, this was no exception!

2012 Hollywood, FL:

In 2012 we headed back to the East coast and enjoyed some beach time in Hollywood, FL. Like the previous conferences, Hollywood continued on the tradition on being one of the best meetings to attend in Dentistry today! The IACA continues to strive for perfection at each meeting and 2012 was no different. Here are a couple of comments from our attendees and the amazing experience they had at the 2012 meeting in Hollywood, FL…

” As my first IACA, the whole atmosphere and calibre of people was much more than I anticipated… I got so much good and benefit not only from the lecture series, but from talking to other people who shared a little piece of themselves which helped me change the way I do things.”

“The IACA always has a great atmosphere. Great combination of informative lectures and fun. Highlight of our year!”

2011 San Diego, CA:

One of the best meetings so far! As we went back to our flagship city in San Diego, like the inaugural conference in 2005 San Diego again surpassed the expectations of everyone who attended the conference. Several people quoted that it was “the Best meeting ever”. Several others mentioned that it was the perfect balance of lectures and activities in a meeting that they have ever attended, as well as the most amazing closing ceremony ever aboard the USS Midway!

Since 2005 the IACA has been the meeting to attend. The feeling of camaraderie and kinship is always ever present at the conference, as well as the amazing venue in which it was held. The IACA is truly the one meeting where colleagues new and old can learn the most up to date information and techniques in Neuromuscular Dentistry as well get together with friends and family.

2010 Boston, MA:

What an outstanding meeting this was! The lectures offered such variety and depth of knowledge that every session ended up causing everyone some serious thought as to which one they would attend. The words “I wish I could clone myself” were uttered by many. A great demonstration of this was that during an evacuation of the building due to a fire alarm, everyone waited patiently then RETURNED to the lectures they were attending even though it was during the last afternoon session.

IACA is a family and the camaraderie and spirit is palpable. It is the buzz in the hallways and the friendships being made and renewed within an atmosphere of joy in our profession that is unrivalled in the continuing education world. The comment from the executive staff of the Westin Boston Waterfront that this was the best conference ever held in the hotel because of the delegates and their attitude and participation is a true testament of what the IACA has become.

2009 San Francisco, CA:

Nearly 1,000 dental professionals got together under one roof at the historic Westin St Francis hotel in San Francisco last July. The cozy atmosphere coupled with the typical San Francisco chill made it a perfect setting for camaraderie, learning, fun, new friendships and a rejuvenated spirit at the end of the 3 days. Many new speakers with leading new information in sleep apnea, adhesion, aesthetics, digital modalities, practice management gave a phenomenal boost for many that were out to seek just that. Coupled with that was the most amazing social program that included the merriment every night with karaoke, dancing, learning new things out of class and many tours in this coveted city.

The IACA Board gives management the direction every year to make sure that both the speakers and the social functions are relevant to not just the dentists but, also to dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental lab technicians and others that attend the meeting. The meeting being relevant to all that attend is of utmost importance and it is addressed every year.

2008 Orlando, FL:

The IACA met in Orlando for what was considered the young organization’s best meeting yet. After having prior meetings in San Diego, Montreal and Chicago the IACA assembled an international group of attendees and speakers who enjoyed four days of incredible presentations and camaraderie. The IACA has quickly established itself as one of the most important meetings on the calendar and looks forward to even bigger and better things next year in San Francisco.

2007 Chicago, IL:

a great city and a great event, in the words of many: the best conference anywhere, ever. Sitting in lectures beside the giants of dentistry, listening to the most state-of-the-art concepts and techniques, enjoying a camaraderie all but lost at many CE Events, all add up to an outstanding opportunity to learn and grow and become encouraged to be the best that we can be. If you were unfortunate enough to miss out on the earlier meetings, the IACA Board invite you to attend the 2008 meeting in Orlando Florida and you can still purchase the DVDs from the previous meetings so all is not lost.

2006 Montreal, QC:

far exceeded all expectations. Over 600 aesthetic professionals from Canada, Australia, United States, and Russia were in attendance in the convention hall at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth. The enthusiastic and wildly generous audience made this event a tremendous success. Due in no small part to the participation, the IACA continued to elevate the knowledge and interest in aesthetic dentistry. The IACA was proud to offer a broad range of highly motivating presentations in Montreal that provided our members with the most cutting edge advances in the aesthetic dentistry and practice management.

2005 Inaugural IACA Meeting; San Diego, CA:

The 2005 inaugural IACA meeting attracted more than 600 aesthetic professionals to the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego, CA. The unprecedented exchange of information, knowledge and experience set the standard for future IACA meetings and brought our profession to a level that only highly enthused collaboration can foster.
